Hi there and welcome to Gone Mountain Biking. We're a family business specialising in mountain biking and cycling holidays in North Yorkshire based at Eleven Westgate our four star bed and breakfast in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
On our doorstep we have Dalby Forest, home of the UCI cross country world cup black route and one of the finest trail networks in the UK with 25 miles of red route plus blue and green family routes. If that's not enough, we have the North York Moors National Park which is probably one of the most untapped areas for cycling in the UK with miles of singletrack through the heather, techy descents, killer climbs with stunning scenery.
So if you're looking for a cycling holiday with that personal touch we can offer stays with MTB skills instruction and/or guided rides from one person to small groups, midweek or at weekends, 2 nights to 2 weeks - just give us a call.
If you are happy just following the waymarked routes or struggling with maps blowing in the wind we can still offer a great place to stay for you to do your own thing.
We offer road cycling stays too so if thin tyres and tarmac are your thing (or you swing both ways!), you've come to the right place.
Take a look around our website and see what you think or just pick up the phone and call 01751 475111 for a chat. We can let you know the ins and outs of cycling in the area and start helping you plan your stay with us...
